Sometimes a product appears to be defective when in fact it is not. In these cases, a detailed inspection often makes more sense than a warranty replacement, which should only be claimed in the case of unquestionable defects.
System requirements and connections
Please make sure that the system requirements are met, that the device has been connected properly and that our product’s contact termination is supported by your computer.
Do not use any third-party adapters to use this device via a certain connection. Such adapters can damage both the computer and pieces of equipment.
If your computer is not equipped with the desired connection, please consider asking your dealer for a replacement of your device.
Testing on another system
In order to rule out a failure of your computer, please test the device on another compatible computer. If it works there, the failure is probably not caused by the Pat Says Now product.

Warranty replacement
If you have explored all possibilities without success or betterment, please refer to your dealer for replacement. Our worldwide warranty period at the dealer level is three years. Please note that online shops and e-commerce dealers are subject to the same terms and conditions.
Allegedly defective products sent in unsolicited will not be processed. Dealers and distributors are required to refer to their retail partner, not to our customer service.
Please note that there are no warranty claims towards Pat Says Now for second-hand devices (e.g. bought at an online auction).
Should a warranty settlement with your dealer be impossible for good reasons, or should it exceed the minimum dealer warranty, please contact our customer service. In order to claim warranty replacement you will be required to provide your sales receipt. We will gladly assist you with the further steps. Our support team will need the following information to process your matter:
- Model name of the product
- Serial number (S/N), to be found on the product label
- Date of purchase
- Point of purchase (dealer, shop, location)
- The reason why replacement by the dealer appears unfeasible (we will only make direct replacements in exceptional cases or if the product has been bought from pat-says-now.com)
- Description of failure / error message
- What troubleshooting measures have you already undertaken?
